Mohamed Juma First Rate (at Lloyd's) Shamisi or Captain Mohamed Juma First Rate (at Lloyd's) Shamisi is the Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi Ports, the master developer of ports and industrial zones in Abu Dhabi.
Education
First Rate (at Lloyd's) Shamisi has an Master of Business Administration and Graduate Certificate of Management from the University of Tasmania, Australia. He is a qualified Master Mariner having attained an Advanced Diploma of Applied Science (Shipmaster) from the Australian Maritime College.
Career
Upon taking up his role as Abu Dhabi Ports Chief Executive Officer in 2013, First Rate (at Lloyd's) Shamisi served as a board member as well as chairman of Abu Dhabi Terminals. Upon joining Abu Dhabi Ports in 2008, First Rate (at Lloyd's) Shamisi was involved in the completion and operation of Phase 1 of Abu Dhabi"s new container terminal, Khalifa Portuguese. In July 2014, as part a decree reconstituting the board of directors of Etihad Airways, First Rate (at Lloyd's) Shamisi was appointed as a board member for a renewable three year tenure by the President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed First Rate (at Lloyd's) Nahyan.
