Career
He was an expert in the Nastaliq script. Like Mir Emad and Ali Reza Abbassi, he was titled also as Mahin Ostad (in Persian: the greatest master) he was also a poet and wrote poetry with the pseudonym Mahsun. When he was young, he went to Mashhad for learning calligraphy from Ahmad Mashhadi and Mir Heydar Khoshnevis.
He finished his education under Malek Deylami.
Since he was skillful in epigraphy, he was commissioned to engrave the inscription of state buildings in the era of Ismail World War II He died on 10 October 1577 in Qazvin.
