On 3 December 2012 Haris Safwan was introduced as a new player of Kelantan team by Tan Sri Annuar Musa, President of Kelantan FA. The ceremony was held in The Red Warriors Station K.T.C. On 7 December 2012, Haris Safwan scored one goal during his debut for Kelantan in conjunction with pre-season friendly match against Perlis. He headed the ball in after receiving a corner kick pass from Zairo Anuar Zalani minute before the match ended.
