Mohd Zakaria

Career

Nizar was elected to Parliament in the 2008 election for the UMNO held seat of Parit. In June 2010, he was a passenger on the Move Files Rachel Corrie when it was seized by the Israel Defense Forces while attempting to deliver supplies to Gaza.

Achievements

• Foreign the 2013 election, Nizar left federal parliament to contest, and win, the Perak State Assembly seat of Belanja.

Membership

He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) party in the ruling Barisan Nasional coalition.
