He is well-known because of his poem about Imam al-Husayn (a)"s martyrdom which is known as Tarkib band. Mohtasham Kaashaani (Kamāl-al-Din Mohtasham Kāšāni, Persian: محتشم کاشانی, also known as Šams-al-šoʿarā) (1528–1588) was a Persian poet of Safavid’s period. He is mainly known by his elegy on martyrdom of Imam Hossein and his family.
