Background
Momotaro Sekisekitei was born in 1910. He was a younger brother of master rakugo-teller, Yanagiya-Kingoro.

Career
Was drafted into the army (1943); detained in Siberia for a considerable time following the wars end. After being repatriated, he joined his elder brother' s troupe; late again became a rakugo teller.
