Jansen did not take part in the 2011 Mission Universe pageant broadcast live from São Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011 because she did not meet the age requirement to participate in the pageant. Jansen"s first runner-up, Evalina van Putten, will compete instead in the pageant. She was placed 108th with a score of 134.
She was in Top 77 for "Beauty of Purpose" Award.
Jansen will competed in the pageant after meeting the age requirements but failed to place in the semifinals.
