Studied at Eton College. Football and cricket elevens. Boating eight; won the running, hurdle race, and fives contests.
Doctor of Medicine (London and Paris).
President of the Debating Society. Upon leaving Eton, was Captain of the 11th Kent Volunteers in 1859. Was in the City for a short, time.
After which he received medical education, and became Doctor of Medicine Paris. Returning then to England, he became Doctor of Medicine London, and has been since that time practising as a physician in London. ; formerly Assistant Physician to the West London Hospital, Physician to Out Patients, Charing Cross Hospital, and Assistant Physician to the Children's Hospital, Great Ormond Street.
Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. Club: Athenaeum.
