The law firm commenced its practice in 1950 in White Plains, New York, under the firm name of King Edwards & O"Connor, Esqs. At the time, its focus was in the area of civil litigation from the defense standpoint.
Since then, the firm has grown significantly and expanded its focus, although it remains primarily a civil litigation defense firm. Members of the firm have appeared throughout New York State"s Ninth Judicial District, which includes the Counties of Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Rockland and Orange, as well as Bronx County, Sullivan County, Ulster County and the Federal Court System in the Southern District of New New York
