Teacher and politician. Joined Basutoland Congress Party (BCP) 1962. Secretary, then Deputy Leader of the party in Mohale’s Hoek District.
Vice-Chairman, then Chair, of Mohale’s Hoek District Council 1962-1965.
Opposition Member of Parliament until dissolution in 1970. Opposition Leader Interim National Assembly 1973, also Chairman Public Accounts Committee until 1984.
Minister of Trade and Industry since 1986.
