Earlier As a student at the University of South Dakota, she received many of the school"s Top Scholarships, and was the President of Pi Beta Phi Sorority, South Dakota Alpha Chapter. Morgan competed in her first pageant in August 2008, earning the runner-up honor at the Mission Sioux Empire Fair pageant, as well as winning the talent competition. She was crowned Mission South Dakota 2009 on June 20, 2009, and didn"t place while competing in the Mission America 2010 Pageant.
