Studied at Philological School, London. St. Mary’s Hospital; Royal Dental Hospital. First appointment was Dental Surgeon to West London Hospital, subsequently to Westminster Hospital, now St. Mary’s Hospital.
Licentiate of the Society of Apothecaries. Licentiate of Dental Surgery.
Was Dean of the School Royal Dental Hospital for 20 years, and instrumental in causing the new hospital to be erected. Was a member of Dental Board of Examiners at Royal College of Surgeons for 12 years. Was Honourable Secretary of the British Dental Association.
Refused the office of president both of that Association and of the Odontological Society. Was President of Dental Section of British Medical Association for 1905.
