Student Eastman Business College, 1876. Doctor of Medicine University of Michigan Medical School, 1881.

Career

Practiced medicine at Niles, Michigan, 1881-1889. Organized German American Savings Bank, Los Angeles, 1890 (original cashier, elected president, 1899), title was changed to Guaranty Trust & Savings Bank, 1917. Vice-president and chairman of the executive committee Security Trust & Savings Bank, into which the Guaranty Trust & Savings Bank was merged, 1921.

Now member executive and trust committees and chairman real estate mortgage loan committee, Security-First National Bank of Los Angeles (formed by merger of Security and First National trust and savings banks).

Director Security-First Company, Washington Boulevard Beach.
