Mu Zeng, also called A-chai A-ssu, which was his Nakhi name, was a Tusi ruling Lijiang between 1600 to 1620.
His father was Mu Qing (Chinese: 木青), his mother was Ashijia (Chinese: 阿室加). When he throned, he was only 11 years old. In 1640, when Xu Xiake (Chinese: 徐霞客) came to Lijiang, he was welcomed by Mu Zeng.
He was good at Chinese literature and wrote many Anthologys.
