He graduated from Punjab University Lahore in 2002.
Career
He was subsequently elected MNA six times in by election of 1985, 1990, 1993, 1997, 2008 and 2013. In 1988 he was defeated by Captain Nisar Akber candidate of Pakistan People"s Party. In 2002 he was not able to join because of non graduation.
He was served as the Chairman of the National Assembly"s Standing Committee on Textile Industry (2008-2013).
In 2013, Ansari garnered ( 124591 ) 63% of the valid votes cast and led by 69376 votes.
Politics
He is a member of the Pakistan Muslim League (North) (PML(North)) party.
Membership
He is a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan (MNA) representing Faisalbad.
