Career
He was one of the prominent leaders of the Krishak Praja Party (Bengali: কৃষক প্রজা পার্টি Krishôk Proja Parti), originally known as "Proja-Shamiti" (প্রজা সমিতি) "People"s Committee"Peasants and Subjects" Party" founded by Sher-e-Bangla A.K. Fazlul Huq from the Tripura district. During the British colonial period, he played a crucial role in a peasant uprising for land-rights in the undivided Tripura region. All were published in the 1940s.
