He then played for Khulna Division from 2001/02 to 2005/06. He also played for Bangladesh in 1997/98 and Bangladesh A in 2001/02. A right-handed batsman, he has scored 4 first class hundreds and 6 fifties with his best knock an epic double hundred against Chittagong Division.
He is also a useful right arm fast medium bowler, with a best analysis of 4 for 65 against Dhaka Division.
