Career
Yamada Muneyoshi succeeded to the family trade of swordsmiths and began experimenting with iron and steel in an attempt to do away with welding and forging objects from one sheet of metal. After much experimenting he was successful and began manufacturing works of highly complex form in 1893. His designs were excellent and his works showed exquisite craftsmanship.
