Career
She plays as a central defender and joined her current club in 2011 after a stint in France with Saint-Étienne. She also featured in the Union of European Football Associations Women"s Champions League with the club On 6 July 2010, it was confirmed by Swiss media that Bouakaz had joined Saint-Étienne in France on a one-year contract.
She made her debut for the club on 5 September 2010 in a 3–0 victory over Le Mans.
Bouakaz is also a Swiss international and has earned caps at under-17, under-19, and under-20 level With the under-20 team, she played in the 2010 Fédération internationale de football association U-20 Women"s World Cup.
