Murray Dryer studied at Stanford University and became a Bachelor of Science in 1949. There his majoring was mechanics and engineering. He became a Master of Science in aeronautics in 1950. Dryer also studied at the Tel-Aviv University and got his PhD in physics and astronomy in 1970.
Murray Dryer works at Chief Interplanetary Physics Branch since 1965. He's also a lecturer at the department of astrogeophysics at the University of Colorado since 1978.
