Mustafa Aslier graduated from the Painting and Decorative Arts Department of Gazi University in 1949. In 1953-1954 he studied German at the University of Munich. Between 1954 and 1958 he studied at the Stutgard School of Graphic Arts.
He opened nine personal exhibitions abroad and thirty-four personal exhibitions in Turkey.
For many years, Aslier worked at Istanbul School of Higher Education of Applied Fine Arts. From 1982 to 1986 he taught at Mimar Sinan University.
