Career
He last played for Bakersfield Jam of the National Basketball Association Development League. First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Sayyad competed for the Qatar national basketball team at the International Basketball Federation Asia Championship 2009 for the first time. He averaged 12 points and 6.4 rebounds per game for Qatar at the tournament.
Despite his efforts, Qatar finished sixth in the tournament and failed to qualify for their second consecutive International Basketball Federation World Championship.
