Cooper, Myles was born in 1737 in England. Son of William and Elizabeth Cooper.
Bachelor of Arts, Queen’s College, Oxford (England) University, 1756, Master of Arts, 1760. Doctor of Laws, Oxford, 1768.
Ordained to ministry Anglican Church, 1761. Came to American, 1762. Professor moral philosophy, fellow King’s College (now Columbia), New York, 1762, president 1763-1775, fled to England because his Loyalist sentiments endangered life.
