Myra Schultz received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1975, and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin in Madison in 1978.
Myra Schultz employed as an instructor at the University of Wisconsin Extension (now the University of Wisconsin-Madison) since 1977, in the 1980s she was also the proprietor of Shutter Press, which produces limited-edition, handmade books, portfolios, graphics, and typography.
