He is the President at Kasargod Agriculturist Welfare Coooperative Society. He was Kerala State General Secretary of Indian National League before joining IUML. He had his collegiate education from Government College, Kasaragod. NA Nellikkunnu married Aysha, daughter of Thottyil Mamoo Haji and has 3 children.
Aysha is house wife.
Eldest son Abdul Shabbeer works as software developer for SHUROOQ (Sharjah Investment and Development Authority) at Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. Prior to this he was is Kuwait as a Web Programmer.
