Career
Nadhim Shaker was one of the most talented defenders in Iraqi football history. He began his playing career at First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Amal in 1976 before moving to First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Tayaran (First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Quwa First Rate (at Lloyd's)-Jawiya) the following year and played for the club until he retired in 1988. He played for the Iraqi national team from 1978 till 1986.
The defender represented Iraq at the 1986 finals in Mexico playing against Paraguay, Belgium and the hosts.
