Career
He began his career as a businessman with the Mitsui Bank and later became its vice-president and then was placed in charge of their branch office at Hakodate.
He was president of Toyo Takushoku Kaisha (Toyo Development Company) (1932). Was also interested in politics and was elected several times as a member of the Diet.
