Career
She is known for her work in effective management and utilization of resources in the evolving global information infrastructure. Her research interests are Networked and Distributed Systems, Internet technologies and Applications, Ubiquitous Computing and Urban Crisis Responses. Born and raised in Bangalore, she received her Doctor of Philosophy in Computer science from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 1998.
In 1998, she joined the University of California, Irvine as an Assistant Professor of Computer science.
