Career
She started her career in the early 90s in Football Club Kaluzhanka, where she spent seven seasons until the club was disbanded in 1999. She then signed for Energiya Voronezh, which she left in 2002 for Lada Togliatti. In 2007 she moved to SKA Rostov, where she spent two seasons before returning to Lada Togliatti in 2009.
Lada was disbanded that same year, and Gelbakhiani returned to Energiya Voronezh.
After Energiya also withdrew from the championship in 2012 she signed for newly promoted team FK Donchanka.
