Nancy Marguerite Farriss is an American historian. She obtained her doctorate from University College London in 1965, after completing her first degree at Barnard College, United States of America. This was followed by brief posts at the University of the West Indies, Jamaica and the College of William and Mary, United States of America. Her speciality was the history of Latin America.
