Nancy McArthur received her Bachelor of Arts from Baldwin Wallace College.
Nancy McArthur taught journalism part-time in the English department at Baldwin Wallace College in Berea, Ohio.
She is the author of more than a dozen children's books, including her most popular middle-grade novel "The Plant That Ate Dirty Socks" which she reworked into a play in 2000, eight sequels and several books for younger readers. While McArthur was a freelance writer before starting to write books, she made her living doing public relations for theatre, ballet, and opera, an experience which led to her nonfiction book "How to Do Theatre Publicity".
She currently lives in Berea, Ohio.
