Education
Naofusa Tanaka studied the national classics and medicine at an early age.
Career
Naofusa Tanaka became head of his family (1867) and appointed head priest of the Aekuni Shrine, then of the Yasaka and Kitano shrines in succession. He wrote some books on medicine and ancient customs.
