Naokata Tanaka graduated from Law Department of Tokyo University (1919).
Career
In 1919 Naokata Tanaka entered Sumitomo Warehouse Company and became manager of its Tokyo Branch, chief of Research and General Affairs Sections and director of Chikko Eigyosho (Harbor Construction Business Office) (1924).
He was reapponted chairman of Tokyo Branch (1943) and then became director and manager (1946) and then president (since 1947).
He holds additional posts of permanent director of Federation of Kansai Economic Organizations, director of Nihon Soko Kyokai (Japan Warehouse Association) and vice-chairman of Osaka-ko Shinko Kyokai (Osaka Harbor Promotion Association).
