In 1906, Naotaro Kuji graduated from Tokyo University. He also studied in America.
After studing in America, Naotaro Kuji served there successively as medical officer at Government-General of Korea. He was a professor of Keijo (Seoul) Medical College, professor of Kanazawa Medical College and president of Tokyo Women’s Medical College (1949). In 1920, Naotaro Kuji received degree. He pursued researches in field of obstetrics covering such subjects as intoxication from pregnancy and dropsy from pregnancy. His works include "Intoxication from Pregnancy", "Pregnancy and Dropsy" and "Abdominal Caesarian Operation".
