He has served the State as the Minister of State for Tourism & Culture, Housing & Urban Development, PHE, Revenue & Relief and later shouldering the responsibility of Home department as an additional portfolio on his shoulders. Mr. Sogami is presently the Provincial President of National Conference for Kashmir. The overwhelming support of people brought him great success in 2008 elections.
His determined efforts have made it possible to strengthen the treads of hope, which the people have in him.
YNC was then just Omar and Nasir and it was never revived. Nasir, descendant of an influential political family earlier concentrated on Lolab Valley.
