At the age of 3 in which she returned with her family to Medellin, Colombia where she would spent her childhood. At the age of 14 she began her career in the entertainment industry and competing in many beauty pageants. Saenz appeared in several music videos for major artists.
In 2003 Saenz was selected to participate in the beauty pageant contest for Mission República Deportiva.
In 2005, Saenz was hired by Univision to appear on the show República Deportiva. Saenz was previously married to Venezuelan actor Melvin Cabrera.
