Career
Beginning in 2016, Natalie"s regular column featured in Taekwondo Times Magazine "Kickchat with National" will offer younger martial artists an inside look at elite-level Taekwondo training. Natalie began training in taekwondo at the age of five. She is a current Amateur Athletic Union National Team member with the goal of representing the United States in the 2020 and 2024 Summer Olympics.
Hershberger has earned two Amateur Athletic Union Junior Olympic Games titles (2012 and 2013) as well as four national championship titles (Amateur Athletic Union and USAT).
Acting as an ambassador of sport taekwondo, Hershberger hopes to bring her passion to the mainstream sports arena in America. Hershberger was named a 2015 Sports Illustrated SportsKid of the Year finalist (SKOTY), making her the first martial artist to be recognized as a finalist.
