Arroba, who stands 1.77 m (5 ft 9 1⁄2 in) tall, competed as a representative of Guayas, one of the 15 contestants in her country"s national beauty pageant,, broadcast live on March 8, 2013 from Guayaquil, where she gained the right to represent Ecuador at
Arroba represented Ecuador at the pageant on December 17, 2013 in Japan where she placed on the Top 15.
