Career

In 1999, he received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. At Novell, Friedman was the Chief Technology and Strategy Officer for Open Source until January 2010. In May 2011, Friedman became the Chief Executive Officer of Xamarin, a new company co-founded with Miguel de Icaza.
