Career
Moosa began playing football as a Defender for Air India Mumbai. Later he went on to play for Goan club Churchill brothers and also had a successful stint with one of India"s oldest soccer club East Bengal. He then moved back to his home in Mumbai and joined Mahindra & Mahindra.
Moosa was also capped for the India national football team
Moosa began his football career as a player with East Bengal F.C. who he played for in the National Football League. Moosa"s time however at East Bengal officially ended in 1998 when he signed for Mumbai based club, Mahindra & Mahindra.
While at Mahindra & Mahindra Moosa failed to reach the same success that he enjoyed at East Bengal. His biggest chance at silverware at Mahindra & Mahindra came on 12 November 2000 when Mahindra & Mahindra were in the final of the 2000 Durand Cup in which they had to face Mohun Bagan but an extra-time golden goal from Roman Catholic Prakash saw the match end in Bagan"s favor 2–1.
In 1997 Moosa represented India in the 1997 Nehru Cup held in Kochi, India.
After retiring as a football player Moosa took up coaching. In around 2008 Moosa signed with Mumbai F.C. as a youth coach. In 2009 Moosa was the coach of the under-15 side while in 2011 he was the under-19 coach.
While the coach of the Mumbai U19s (under-21s) Moosa led them to be champions of the Mumbai Football League Elite Division.
Air India: 2013–
After spending close to five years as a youth coach with Mumbai, Moosa decided to sign with I-League club Air India Football Club as their new coach.
