Achievements include identification of specific regions within Asia at highest risk from acid deposition; identified basis of pollution problems in Romania, Poland, China; compiled emissions inventory for mercury in Great Lakes region and for SO2 in Asia; assisted in development of climate change strategy for the People's Republic of China.
