Graduated from Applied Chemistry Department of Tokyo Higher Engineering School (1909).
Career
Served as technician at Nihon Paint Company and technical adviser of Nihon Denchi Kaisha (Japan Batttery Company). Later became director and chief technician (1929), managing director (1931) and then president of Dai - Nippon Toryo Kaisha (Japan Paint Company) (1942). Holds additional posts of managing director of Nihon Chemistry Industry Association and director of Muki Yakuhin Kyokai (Inorganic Drugs Association).
