(Neurology is not only a diagnostic specialty but a style ...)
Neurology is not only a diagnostic specialty but a style of management, growing in its scope as neurological illnesses and handicaps and their implications are better understood. Both Books 1 and 2 are concerned with what can be done to help children with neurological problems, and consider both specific medical treatment and co-ordination of services. The emphasis is on children as people not cases, on their needs, and those of their families, and on the necessity for a team approach.
