In Voronezh since 1915, she graduated from the Lithuanian gymnasium (1918).
She was the commandant of the youth hostel, she worked among Lithuanian refugees, was fond of stage art. She worked in drama theaters of Kaunas (1922-1935, 1936-1942), Siauliai (1935-1936), Vilnius (1947-1959).
She played more than 200 roles, including Turandot (The Princess of Turandot by Carlo Gozzi, 1927), Ranevskaya (The Cherry Orchard by Anton Chekhov, 1937), Maria (Maria Stuart by Friedrich Schiller, 1937), Vishnevskaya (The Profitable Place Alexander Ostrovsky, 1939), Rouken ("Sing the Cocks" by Juozas Baltushis, 1948), Polina ("Enemies" Maxim Gorky, 1952).
