Nell Tiger Free is an English actress. She is known for her role as Myrcella Baratheon in seasons 5 and 6 of the television series Game of Thrones.

Background

Nell Tiger Free was born on October 18, 1999, and raised in Kingston, Surrey, southwest London, England. The actress grew up with her mother Amanda Free who is a yoga expert, and her father whose name is not known. She also has an older sister, Betsy Free, who graduated from the University of Cardiff.

Education

Neil attended Teddington School in London.

Career

At the age of 12, the actress made her first film debut in Rufus Norris directed film Broken and played a role of Anna. In 2012, she appeared in TV film Mr. Stink, where she portrayed a character of Chloe Crumb. Her other notable appearances in the movies and TV series include Endeavour; and Wonderwell.

Nell was 14 years old when she took up the role in the HBO series and according to reports, she was at that time two years younger than the previous Myrcella Baratheon played by Richardson.

In 2018, Deadline revealed that Nell and the Six Feet Under actress, Lauren Ambrose will feature as a cast member of the Apple’s upcoming psychological thriller series from M. Night Shyamalan and British TV writer Tony Basgallop. Although the plotline of the story and the title of the project is still a mystery, the source mentioned that the series surrounds the tale of Dorothy and Sean Turner as parents who hire a young nanny Leanne to care of their newborn child. In the series, Nell plays the role of nanny, Leanne Grayson, whereas her castmate, Lauren Ambrose portrays the role of Dorothy.

The British actress is also set to mesmerize her audiences with her role as Janey in 'Too Old to Die Young' which premieres on 14 June 2019. The series bounds the characters' existential voyage from being killers to becoming samurais in the city of angels. The series embeds with a blend of violence, beauty, and existential thought. Besides that, Nell has remained focused in the post-production of the series, Servant.

Aside from being an actress, Nell is also a singer. She has been into music way before she became an actress. She released her first album, No Tie Friday, after she turned 18 years of age.
