Graduated from Mechanical Department of Tokyo Higher Technical School (1913).
Career
In 1913 Nemoto Shigeru entered Nihon Kokan Kaisha (Japan Steel Pipe Manufacturing Company) and then became superintendent of Kawasaki Steel Plant (1942) and then director. Resigned same plant (1946). He has been an Appointed Chairman of Kawasaki Chamber of Commerce & Industry (1947) and thereafter became auditor of Yokohama Koshin Ginko (Trust Bank) (since 1953) and held various additional posts including those of president of Tokyo-Yokohama Plumbing Industry Company, Kawasaki Sangyo Kaisha (Kawasaki Industrial Company) (since 1943) and Japan Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
