Vazda scored 19 goals for FK Željezničar Sarajevo during the 1997-1998 season, making him joint-top scorer. Vazda played in four matches for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team, all friendly matches at the Dunhill Cup in Malaysia. His first appearance was the opener against Vietnam on 22 February 1997.
