Currently, he plays for Football Club Krasnodar and its professional farm club Football Club Krasnodar-2. In December 2009, Markov signed a 2-year contract with Football Club Krasnodar. On 28 February 2015, Markov moved to Football Club Ural Sverdlovsk Oblast for the rest of the season.
