Point, Nicholas was born in 1799 in Rocroi, France.

Career

Made many sketches owned by Jesuit Provincial House, St. Louis. Made sketches which formed basis for lithographs illustrating Oregon Missions and Travels over the Rocky Mountains in 1845-1846 (written by Father de Smet with whom he travelled). Assigned to Mission of Upper Can.
