Early in his career he portrayed the young Sherlock Holmes in Barry Levinson"s production Young Sherlock Holmes (1985). He attended Eton, where he acted in school productions, and received a Bachelor in Hispanic Studies from Bristol University. Rowe has appeared in numerous movies, television programmes and theatre plays.
